BEC - BUSINESS ENGLISH CERTIFICATE

Last year ten pupils of our class decided to do the Business English Certificate.
As it couldn’t be held as a vocational subject, we “adopted” the topic for our seminar lessons.

We ordered the book “Bec Vantage” and as it had a nice layout and interesting topics, the lessons didn’t get boring. We learned and talked about rights at work, business travel, ordering goods, public relations and so on.

The examination was not that easy as the FCE two years ago, because the main topics were business matters. The exam was at the end of May, being divided into 3 different parts:
Listening, Reading and Writing, which took place in the morning and after having a pizza, we continued with Speaking with which the exam was over. Then we had to wait till September to get our results which were quite satisfying for both – our teacher and us.
